What is your cancellation policy?
The standard policy is 4pm on the day of arrival, however policies vary based on the rate reserved and this standard policy does not apply for all reservations. Please read all terms and conditions prior to booking to ensure you know what the cancellation policy on your reservation is.
What time is check-in?
Check-in time is 3pm.
What time is check-out?
Check-out time is 11am.
Is there a minimum age to check-in?
Yes, guests must be 18+ to check-in to the hotel.
Can I charge beer vendor purchases to my room?
All purchases from the beer vendor need to be settled directly, room charges are not available.
Reservations
What type or rooms do you offer?
Accessible, two queen, single queen, single king, and suites.
Are there any discounts available for longer stays?
Yes, we have extended stay rates available by calling the hotel directly.
Is there special rates for group bookings?
Yes, we offer group rates on reservations of 10 rooms or more. Contact the Front Desk for assistance.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is not included in room rates unless you book a specific package where it will be noted. The hotel has a great restaurant called Pauline that is open daily. View their menu here.
Can I request a specific room location or floor?
Yes, please request when you make your reservation.
Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are highly encouraged, especially for Pauline. Make a reservation for Pauline at www.paulinebistro.ca and reserve a table for the Wood Tavern at www.thewoodtavern.com.

Where is the restaurant entrance?
Pauline Bistro and the Wood Tavern have a main entrance on Marion Street, but can also be accessed via the hotel lobby.
Do I have to pay for parking while visiting the restaurant?
Parking for guests at the restaurant is complimentary. Overnight guest parking is $12 + tax, per vehicle, per night.
Can I charge my bill to my room?
Yes, room charges are available with a credit card or additional deposit on file.
Is there live music at the restaurant?
Yes, there is live music every Friday and Saturday at the Wood Tavern.
Is there a buffet?
The restaurants do not offer buffet-style dining.
Parking
Is there parking available?
Yes, the hotel has a large surface parking lot. Parking for overnight guests is $12+ tax, per vehicle, per night. Daily and monthly parking is also available for a fee.
Hotel Amenities
Does the hotel have free WIFI?
Yes, WIFI is complimentary throughout the hotel.
Is there an airport shuttle?
The hotel does not provide airport shuttle services but we recommend using Unicity Taxi or a ride-sharing app for transportation.
Does the hotel have a pool?
There is no pool at the hotel.
Is there a gym at the hotel?
The hotel does not have a gym.
Does the hotel have a spa?
The hotel does not have a spa, but we recommend Riverstone Spa which is located at Inn at the Forks nearby.
Where is the hotel located?
The hotel is located in St. Boniface, just a short walk to downtown, The Forks, St. Boniface Hospital, and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
Do you allow smoking?
The hotel is 100% non-smoking, and smoking is not permitted in any area of the property.
Do you have a noise policy?
We have a quiet time from 10pm - 8pm.
Do you have VLTs?
Yes, Carousel Gaming Lounge is located at the hotel, with the main entrance on Marion Street.
Can we access the VLTs without ID?
ID is required to enter the VLT area.
Is room service available?
Room service is not available, but guests can call in orders for pick-up during their stay.
What are the hours for the beer vendor?
The beer vendor opens at 10am daily and closes at midnight (Sunday - Wednesday) and 2:30am (Thursday - Saturday).
Events and Group Bookings
How many people can you meeting rooms accommodate?
The Promenade Ballroom can accommodate up to 400 people and is the largest meeting room at the hotel.
How many meeting rooms do you have?
The Norwood Hotel has the following meeting rooms:

Do you provide catering services?
Yes, catering from the Norwood Hotel is available for all events booked at the property. Outside catering is also available upon request.
Is there AV available?
Yes! The meeting rooms have recently been renovated to include state of the art audio visual, including two-way interactive virtual meetings, and multiple build in screens.
Are there any restrictions or guidelines for hosting events?
Outside food is not allowed except for wedding cakes from a licensed bakery.
Pet Policy
Do you allow pets?
Yes. Pets are allowed for a fee of $25 per night.
